ITINERARY
Day 1. Arrival . Meeting a guide at the airport of Elizovo city. Transfer to Petropavlovsk- Kamchatsky city. Accommodation in a hotel. City tour with a visit to the Museum of Regional Studies and some historical monuments. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 2. In the morning, a sea voyage on a comfortable yacht on Avacha Bay, during which you will be able to see the natural landscape monument of Kamchatka "Three Brothers Rocks". You can watch sea birds and animals in their natural environment. After lunch you will be offered an excursion to the area of natural Paratunka hot-springs to the foot of Viluchinsky volcano. In the Paratunka River you can see salmon raising the river for spawning. Bathing in a thermal pool. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 3. Departure for the central part of Kamchatka peninsular. Transfer to the valley of the Kamchatka River to Milkovo village (308 km) , the start point for rafting down the Kamchatka River, the largest one of the peninsular. Dinner at Milkovo village, a visit to ethnographic museum. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 4. The first day of rafting down the Kamchatka River. During the rafting down calm and picturesque river you can watch wild birds and animals, make brief stops in interesting places and enjoy the beauty of wild nature. Overnight in tents on the river bank.
Day 5. The second day of rafting. Visiting a fisher men's camp. It is the time when salmon is spawning constantly and the locals are engaged in fishing. Overnight in tents on the river bank.
Day 6. On this day, during the rafting you make a stop at Dolinovka village, which is situated on the Kamchatka river bank. Having acquainted with a common life of the locals you continue your trip down the river. Overnight in tents on the river bank.
Day 7. One more day of rafting. You will be able to make unique photos of wild nature and if you are lucky you'll take a picture of a moose or a bear. Overnight in tents on the river bank.
Day 8. You will continue your rafting trip down Kamchatka River. Overnight in tents on the river bank.
Day 9. Continuing rafting down the Kamchatka River. Overnight in tents on the river bank.
Day 10. Rafting down the river. A stop at a fisher men's camp "Gorny kluch". In the evening you will be offered Russian banya (sauna), a festive dinner, reminding you of your trip down the Kamchatka River. Overnight in tents or the fisher men's cabins.
Day 11. Transfer from the fisher men's camp "Gorny kluch" on the Kamchatka River bank to the village of Esso (90 km) - the centre of the Bystrinsky district, where the national minorities, the Evens live. On your way you will visit the natural monument "Bystraya River Canyon". In the afternoon, arrival to Esso village, accommodation at a cozy hotel, bathing in the thermal pool. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 12. In the morning, an excursion walk round Esso village - visiting the ethnographic museum, the exhibition hall and the carving work-shop. After lunch a bus-trip to Anavgai village, acquaintance with the nomadic Evens, their culture, traditions and common life. Concert of the Evens national dance troupe "Nurgenek". Coming back to Esso village. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 13. Arrival back to Petropavlovsk- Kamchatsky (530 km, 10 hours). On the way, a stop at Milkovo village. Lunch. Arrival to the city in the evening. Parting dinner. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 14. After breakfast you will have an opportunity to visit the art-saloon and acquire the souvenirs reminding of unforgettable Kamchatka travel.
Departure to the airport for your flight.
