603. Trekking to the Valley of Geysers.

15 Day trip.
8 Day moderate trek carrying backpack
4 Day moderate trek
2 Nights hotel
SEASON: July 15th - September 15th

During this trip you will visit a fabulous place called the Valley of Geysers.
This is an adventure tour unlike any other. If you've seen too many pictures of Kamchatka always looking up at mountains and wondered what's there, then bring some home from the other end of the lens. People experience this special place from many vantage points, but there's something incredibly satisfying about pointing to it, and knowing you got there under your own power. These are places that not many have the privilege to know. You will have an opportunity, by trying yourself, to effect ascents and look into the craters of active volcanoes.
The unique Uzon Valley and the Valley of Geysers are located in Kronotsky biosphere state reserve, which is famous for its steaming-water fountains, thermal lakes and mud pots. You will see brown bears, various birds and deer here. The relict Silver fir wood (Pikhtovaya Roscha) which is put in the Red Data Book of the Russian Federation, and Karymsky Volcano, which is considered as the most active Kamchatka volcano due to the frequency and duration of its eruptions, will give you unforgettable impressions.
By being small and mobile, we can leave the crowds behind and explore treasures unavailable through other means, allowing a true sense of self-discovery. From visiting many unspoiled places to exploring local nature; this overview of Kamchatka goes far beyond what the merely conventional tourist will ever see. While many means exist to visit the wild North, the only way to truly experience it is to get off the beaten track. This itinerary provides a wonderful option to enable a tremendous and personal overview.
